Review | Invincible (Season One)
I’m going to review this show without spoilers. If you’ve seen it, you know how much of a challenge that is. I’m also going to try to do it with less violence than the show had. Which, if you’ve seen it, you know how easy that’s going to be.
Create a Homebrew Campaign | #2: Micro View
In this session, we’re going to zoom into the map and focus on one of those regions and one population center within it. You should select a region that has a few interesting features to it, rather than something that is less interesting like a grassy plain or desert. Those can be made interesting, of course, but we want to pick an area that’s interesting right from the start, for this. Note that this is going to be where we write the first arc, too, so keep that in mind when selecting the region you’re going to focus on for this.
A Week in Los Angeles with My Friends
Welcome to another of my personal posts! Today, I wanted to talk about a vacation I took toward the end of September, this year. I’m going to try to keep this short, but it was a pretty long, packed week that I had with five of my friends, so there’s a lot of ground to cover. I’ve also struggled with figure out how I’m going to break this down. I initially wanted to break this down into each of the seven days that we had in Los Angeles, but I think it’ll be easier to just break it down into the different categories of activities that we had.
Book Review | The Fires of Vengeance
Immediately after finishing The Rage of Dragons, I grabbed The Fires of Vengeance and started reading. I’ve been pretty busy with work and a few personal things, so my reading of this book was a little slower than Rage, but I’m grateful for that because we won’t get book three, The Lord of Demons, for a couple more months. The book’s release in 2022 can’t come soon enough. While I wait, though, I’ll divulge my thought on the second book of this series.
Create a Homebrew Campaign | #1: Macro View
In this part, I’ll walk through the steps I take to create a broad stroke of my world. We’ll make a general map, add features to it, and scatter some cities around here and there.
My Favorite Books, Movies, Games, and Shows
When I look to a reviewer for an opinion, I generally look for a reviewer whose tastes are similar to my own. What better way to see if our tastes are aligned than listing a few of my favorite things? I’m going to tackle my top three books, movies, games, and shows. We’ll start with number three and work our way up, one category at a time.
